ABOUT TAI ER

TAI ER was founded in 2015, as a Sichuan cuisine brand specializing in Suancai & Fish. In the early beginnings, the owner was so focused on cooking but forgot to open the restaurant door, and had not even named the restaurant. His customers joked around and called him “TAI ER” (which means too silly with a loving connotation). The owner loved it and named the restaurant "TAI ER". TAI ER has grown to over 600 outlets worldwide, with its main base in China and expansions into Singapore, Canada, the United States, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and more.
